Consultation is about much more than simply completing hours—it's about helping you become a confident, effective EMDR therapist who can thoughtfully apply the model with integrity and competence.

During our time together, we'll discuss case conceptualization, treatment planning, protocol fidelity, clinical decision-making, common challenges, ethical considerations, and adaptations for complex presentations.

My hope is that you'll not only strengthen your EMDR skills but also leave each consultation feeling more confident in your ability to serve your clients well.

If you are a Christian therapist and desire to thoughtfully integrate your faith into your clinical work, I'm also available to discuss ethical and evidence-informed ways of doing so while remaining faithful to the EMDR model and your professional standards. These discussions are always client-centered, clinically appropriate, and respectful of each client's beliefs and values.

 

I encourage you to come prepared with questions, case presentations, successes, and even the sessions that didn't go as planned. Those are often where the greatest learning takes place. Consultation is a collaborative process, not an examination. This is a place to think together, learn together, and continue developing your clinical skills.
